So, Context:

This is a Chinese Reality Show/ Singing Competition called “Singer”, previously called “I am a Singer”. It started in 2013 and is still ongoing today.

A bunch of professional singers perform in front of a live audience every week and the top 3 will be voted into the next round.

All the participants are well-known stars and international-calibre singers, which makes the show super enjoyable to watch because every performance is guaranteed to be amazing.

But that’s not why I LOVE the show. It’s not about the singers.

It’s the Audience Members.

They cry. They cry all the time.
