The idea of an apprenticeship is slowly getting lost in modern times.

It has been over-run by Internships.

It’s a sign of the times I guess … a reflection of the modern mindset :

“I’m not gonna commit to anything yet, let me just try it out for 3 months and I’ll think about it later.”

Gone are the days where people take massive leaps of faith and devote their entire life to a craft/job, to fully understand, learn, improve and ultimately specialise in it.

Specialists are a dying breed. Enter the Age of Dabbling.

So this article is dedicated to Apprenticeship and all you Specialists out there.

I feel like it’s about damn time we give Apprenticeship another shot in the limelight. We need more apprentices so they can eventually grow into specialists.

After all, Specialists are truly in demand nowadays.

On a more personal note, I guess I’m just so sick of “dabbling”. And no offence but I’m also going nowhere…
