Every time you say that during an interview, you’re under-promising your potential.
Every time you say that to yourself, you’re slowing yourself down.

How did this phrase even come about?

It’s bad marketing.

You see, so many people out there can’t for the life of them figure out what they’re good at, yet almost everyone knows at least 1 thing they suck at.

So marketers latch onto that:

“Hey you suck at public speaking? Let me help you get better at it. Just buy my course!”
