I know. The audacity! To only read it after all these years!

Anyway, we were discussing some Harry Potter trivia when a thought suddenly dawned upon me.

This conversation was only possible because each of us had our own individual information and memory of the Harry Potter plot that we could refer to.

Ok, so here’s the strange part:

If my memory was from a time when I was 9 years old and hers was when she was 25…

Does that mean I was conversing with her as a 9 year old version of myself?

Wait ok. I don’t mean I shrank and became tiny again, but mentally, did I just engage my past self into the present moment?
