I am putting out articles every single day and I’m not doing it for fun.
In fact, there are days where I absolutely loathe writing.
I didn’t like what I put out, it’s not good enough and it feels like a chore.
But f*ck it, I push through & hit publish anyway.
As I question myself why I’m even doing this, I realised there are many layers to this habit.
- I promised myself to write everyday.
Thankfully, I hate letting myself down more than I hate my shitty work. So it goes…(i guess my big ego serves me after all.) - I can’t help it. I have to write.
I’m obsessed with putting my ideas into words. I have to do it, period. - It feels good to look back and connect the dots.
As frustrating as it is to ensure I write something I’m proud of everyday, what brings me immense joy is the journey. (as corny as it sounds, you’d only understand once you’ve lived it.)
