They all seem to follow the same “winning” formula — a set story arc with overused characters.

It’s the same old same old SAME OLD…

2. Especially in the way people express themselves

I used to loathe trends.
Doesn’t matter what kind — clothes, language, music — I hated them all.

In my mind, trends were the hallmark of fickleness.

My blood boils when I can clearly see someone copying someone else.
They all look exactly the same.
