Are you “Nurturing-deficient”?

Musings: What does it mean to be a parent?

A Nurturing-deficiency is simply a state of being(which means you can move away from it) when one or both of these conditions occur:

  1. You aren’t apt enough to nurture someone else.
  2. You’re too afraid of nurturing someone else.

This topic came about as I was just thinking about the whole concept of parenthood.

My opinion:

I agree with the notion that NOT everyone is meant to be a parent.

Perhaps I have too high an expectation for what it means to be a decent parent? Perhaps I’m just overthinking?
You let me know…

There are so many things you have to do to do a good job:

  • How to take care of a helpless fragile human baby,
  • How to make sure they can take care of themselves
  • And finally, how to let go…
